The Elite chanter has been designed with oval shaped finger holes to produce maximum harmonics.
Comfortably pitches from 478hz to 482hz at 20 degrees C.
If you like the pitch a little higher, Our Elite Higher Pitched Chanter (Elite#) with marginally larger holes than the Elite, pitches from 483hz to 487hz at 20 degrees C.
Now being played by many top level Grade 1 and 2 bands including Inveraray and District Pipe Band.
Couple best with a G1 Platinum Pipe reed, or David Chesney Reed
